1. GENERAL

1.1. This Recommendation Contest is organized by Sonno Malaysia Sdn Bhd (the “Company”). Throughout this document, the terms “we”, “us”, “our”, and “the organizer” refer to the Company.

1.2. There is no entry fee to enter this contest.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1. This Recommendation Contest is open to all Sonno customers who have purchased a Sonno product regardless of their nationality.

2.2. Participants must like and/or follow Sonno’s Facebook or Instagram in order to qualify for this contest.

2.3. Participants must use original and unopened Sonno products for any photo or video attachment.

3. WINNERS & PRIZES

3.1. The prizes will be limited to 5 (five) grand prize winners and 10 (ten) runners-up. We reserve the right to choose the winners based on our own discretion. Prizes may vary depending on the availability of our stock.

3.2. The prizes consist of 5 (five) Sonno single mattresses and 10 (ten) Sonno the pillows. The prizes are subject to the availability of our stock and may be replaced with to another item of our discretion.

4. ENTRY PERIOD

4.1. The Recommendation Contest begins at 18:00 PM EST on August 8, 2019, and ends at 11:59 PM EST on August 18, 2019 (the “Entry Period”).

4.2. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.

 

5. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

5.1. Entrants shall submit and post a recommendation of their purchased Sonno product on Sonno's official Facebook page, under the Reviews section. 

5.2. Each entry must be made public to all audiences on the Facebook platform.

5.3. Submission will not be considered if the recommendation is not successfully posted.  

5.4. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

5.5. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

5.6. We will not bear responsibility for entries that are not received or posted for whatever reason.

6. SUBMISSION RULES

6.1. The following submissions are ineligible:

6.1.1. recommendations that violate or infringe upon another person's rights, including but not limited to copyright.

6.1.2. Recommendations that contain obscene, violent, provoke racial sentiments, politically inclined or other objectionable or inappropriate content.

6.1.3. Recommendations that involve the willful harassment of animals, or damage to the environment.

6.1.4. Recommendations that involve putting any individual or animal in danger.

6.1.5. Recommendations that are identical or similar submission by other entrants.

6.1.6. Recommendations that are posted on a private social media account.

7. JUDGING

7.1. Each recommendation post will be judged on originality, creativity, effort, quality and subject matter relevance to Sonno.

7.2. Judging will be conducted by a panel of judges selected by Sonno at our sole discretion.

7.3. The Panel will evaluate all valid entries and will pick the 15 (fifteen) winners at the end of the contest period. The decisions made by the panel of judges are final.

8. NOTIFICATION TO WINNERS

8.1. The winners will be notified via email or text message within 7 days of the announcement on when and where the prize can be collected or delivered.

8.2. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

8.3. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

8.4. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

8.5. Sonno is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this contest.

9. ORGANIZER’S RIGHTS

9.1. The organizer (Sonno) reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of an emergency, a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Organizer’s control. Any changes to the contest will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Organizer.

9.2. The organizer does not accept responsibility for damages arising from or related to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to network failure, computer viruses or unauthorized access.

9.3. The organizer reserves the right to publish entries to its websites and social media accounts throughout the submission period in order to publicize the contest. 

9.4. The organizer will display the names of the winners and the titles of the winning entries on contest-related websites and social media accounts, write-ups, and in other publications where the works are shown.

9.5. In the event that a winner is found to be disqualified after a prize is awarded, the award may be revoked and the entrant requested to return the prize.

9.6. The organizer may disclose to judges, and to third parties overseeing the contest, such personal information as may be required for contest management.
